Art Diary Entry 10

  • Due Oct 25, 2024 by 11:59pm
  • Points 100
  • Submitting on paper
  • Available Aug 14, 2024 at 12am - Oct 25, 2024 at 11:59pm
This assignment was locked Oct 25, 2024 at 11:59pm.

Students will be using art diary entries as documentation of their works and everything they aim to focus on for their portfolio

Each week I will check out the art diaries for ONE new entry- the entry should include the following

  • The title/Idea
  • A written brief description of how the work relates to your theme idea OR a few bullet points describing details about the artwork that could feed into a theme idea later as we develop our ideas
  • At least ONE thumbnail sketch of the idea (it doesn't have to be a great sketch, it could just be a stick figure in front of a square for a building if that's the general idea)
  • The size and media you plan this artwork to be

These diary entries are designed to make the AP portfolio entry process simple - when you enter your portfolio, you simply have the information in a diary format ready to input into their system. Otherwise you will be running around at the end of the entry deadline to measure all your pieces and get all the information.

OR

***Students may be graded on their participation on their project if they are working on a longer, more detailed piece that requires more attention. Students will still be graded based on their efforts in class, distractions, phone use, etc. If any of the aforementioned ideas becomes an issue, points will be docked.

Below is an example of how the art diary entry should look- you don't need 3 thumbnails, I just wanted to fill the space of the paper and thought it looked more fun.
